Beth had seen some of my real estate videos online and she asked if I could work with her to produce something perhaps a little different. Rather than sugar coating the property, Beth wanted to showcase it as what you see is what you get!
Real estate videos often feature just the property.
The only time one might realize they are watching a video is when they see movement such as the ceiling fans and/or the wind blowing in the trees. That’s fine and it works well most of the time because if shot and produced well, the property will speak for itself.
Be Genuine - show your personality, keep it brief, establish a rapport with your audience, raise brand awareness.
Be Interesting - tell a story, share something personal, show a sense of humour.
Clear Messages: Clearly define the value and potential of what you are offering.
Call to Action: Your CTA is critical in converting social fans and followers into real clients.
2. Cross Media Social Promotion
Cross media social promotion is a coordinated effort across as many social media channels as possible such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube etc. Be consistent with your branding and messages. Keep it genuine, not generic. Don't over use #hashtags. Share relevant topics and articles with your audiences, post questions and encourage feedback, discussion.
3. Work your Social Media Strategies
YouTube - upload your video, use clear titles and detailed description including your CTA and website addresses. Consider using annotations.
Facebook - share your videos on Facebook with status updates. Don't forget your CTA. Increase your exposure with Promoted updates and consider Facebooks Ads.
Twitter - Embed your YouTube video on your landing page / website and tweet your link with catchy headline.
